These begin with making a viewfinder and using it to focus on details in patterns in nature photographs. Students draw patterns they see. I suggest to them that they keep their patterns close together and arrange them in an interesting way. |

Patterned Rubbings
Students first cut strips of construction paper and glue a design onto a 4x4 inch square of construction paper. They then do repeated rubbings to create a repeated or random pattern.
