Fall Leaf Overlay
For these colorful fall leaf-inspired paintings, overlapping leaf shapes were traced onto paper using a variety of different leaf-shaped templates, then the spaces were painted with watercolor.
Crayon and Watercolor Landscapes After a walk outside to look at and talk about the surrounding landscape, students drew their own landscapes using one crayon color. They then painted in parts of their landscapes with watercolor.
