 Geometric Faces

Only straight-sided geometric shapes are allowed for these faces.

 Wax-Resist Crayon and Watercolor Faces

This lesson begins with a lesson on portraits using examples from Pablo Picasso and Paul Klee. Students draw either a portrait or a self-portrait with black or white crayon, then paint sections of watercolor over their drawings.

Double Self-Portraits

This is the same basic lesson as the wax-resist watercolor face, with the addition of a second, companion portrait drawn with crayon.
